British superstars Coldplay have announced four concerts in Abu Dhabi for January 2025, causing an unprecedented rush for tickets. Initially planned as a single concert, the overwhelming demand forced organizers to add three more shows, scheduled for January 9th, 11th, 12th, and 14th at Zayed Sports City Stadium. All four concerts are now sold out, with tickets selling like hotcakes.
Coldplay’s immense popularity, combined with their spectacular stage show known for stunning light effects and captivating performances, has drawn fans from all over the region to Abu Dhabi. Their “Music of the Spheres World Tour” promises to be an unforgettable experience featuring a mix of beloved classics like “Fix You” and “Viva La Vida” along with new tracks from their upcoming album “Moon Music,” set to be released on October 4th.
Interestingly, fans not only from the UAE but also from India, who missed out on tickets for the sold-out Mumbai concert, are now planning to travel to Abu Dhabi to see the band live.
Overall, hundreds of thousands of fans registered for pre-sale, and tickets were snapped up within minutes. Prices ranged from AED 195 for standard seats to AED 1,495 for deluxe packages that included additional exclusive experiences like early access and behind-the-scenes tours.
